One of the adverse social effects of the movement of Filipinos across international borders is that we lose easy access on our authentic Filipino food ingredients.

We crave and miss our Filipino cuisine . However, we are a resourceful people so I am sure we can actually prepare our food in our own kitchens using substitutes, for the best Filipino foods are home-cooked not served in restaurants.
