One of the adverse social effects of the movement of Filipinos across international borders is that we lose easy access on our authentic Filipino food ingredients.

Here in Heart to Heart, I asked a handful of Filipino migrants on which Pinoy foods they crave the most. Below is their common answers in no particular order. WARNING: Get ready with a glass of water. You will be absolutely salivating!

We crave and miss our Filipino cuisine . However, we are a resourceful people so I am sure we can actually prepare our food in our own kitchens using substitutes, for the best Filipino foods are home-cooked not served in restaurants.
